Kasseri Saganaki fried cheese

Kasseri Saganaki fried cheese

2 - 4 servings

1 package Mt VikosⓇ Kasseri

1 tbsp. all purpose flour

2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

1 slice of lemon

1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  1. Remove Kasseri from package and dredge in the flour. Shake to remove the excess flour.
  2. In a pan heat the oil over medium heat.
  3. Place cheese in the pan for 2 minutes or it is golden brown. Flip the cheese to fry the other side for 2 more minutes.
  4. Serve it hot with a slice of lemon and you can top it off with fresh thyme leaves and cherry tomatoes.
